I live in Kumla, in southern Sweden, 20 km south of Örebro, at 59° North, 15° East.

My main hobbies are astronomy and photography, and I´m an active member of Kumla Astronomi Klubb, a local amateur astronomy club.

 Pleiades in sunshine?

No, the image was taken during a power black out in the light of the full moon. Exposure time 30 sec. f/4.0 and ISO 400. Another moonshine image.

  

August 2008 Partial Solar Eclipse and Partial Lunar eclipse

Lunar occultation of Saturn May 22, 2007

A couple of minuts after the end of the occultation on May 22, 2007 at 22.18 CEST,

Partial solar eclipse in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria, March 29, 2006

The images were taken every 15 minutes between 10.15 and 11.30 local time (UTC+1 hour).                                                                                 Link to my solar page.

The partly eclipsed sun seen through a handheld solar filter.

The same method as to the left, but this time with the reflections in the filter showing the Maspalomas desert and hotels behind my back. 
Thus the background is image reversed, but the sun is correctly imaged.
